Our Story

"The new culture of hardware engineering demands modern, integrated tools. Duro was founded to meet this requirement, and make hardware engineers’ lives easier."

Michael Corr
Founder & CEO

Our Core Values

Duro was founded on the principle that hardware engineering teams should be able to focus on their engineering responsibilities which is to bring cool products to market. They should not be burdened with the administrative nuances of setting up their data management tools. Modern engineering tools should work for them, not the other way around.

Duro has recognized early on that the hardware industry has changed. Workflows and data models popularized by the software agile renaissance are now permeating into the hardware toolsets. Hardware teams are becoming more software driven, and so should their data management tools.

With that in mind, Duro has built the first and only Agile Workflow PLM platform for managing CAD, BOM, and Supply Chain data. With our modern engineering solutions, teams can literally get up and running with just a few clicks and immediately begin reviewing and releasing BOMs to their suppliers in a properly revision controlled, central source of truth.
