Agile for Embedded Hardware
Hardware development is hard. Testing for hardware products is especially difficult when there are multiple, disparate teams of electrical, mechanical, and firmware engineers working on a new product simultaneously - as there is no stable ground to stand on. In this presentation I will demonstrate how to simplify the process by adopting best practices used in web software and mobile app development for use in developing and testing embedded hardware products. Specifically I’ll discuss, the use of Agile and Continuous Integration tools, design-for-test (DFT) strategies and even test driven development (TDD) best practices
